COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS

COMPOSITION COMMENTS: Aqueous dispersion of synthetic polymer.

HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION

Not known to cause irritation by inhalation but may lead to affected personnel feeling generally unwell. May cause irritation by ingestion. May cause irritation by skin contact. May cause irritation on eye contact.

FIRST AID MEASURES

INHALATION: Remove affected personnel to fresh air, keep warm and at rest. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with clean water and then drink plenty of water. Seek medical attention.
SKIN: Remove affected person from source of contamination. Wash thoroughly with soap and water. If irritation persists or a rash develops, seek medical attention.
EYES: Make sure to remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing. Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: This material is not flammable. Use extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding fire.

ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

PERSONAL PRECAUTION IN SPILL: Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective clothing- see EXPOSURE CONTROLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION section below.
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT ENVIRONMENT: Do not allow spillages to enter drains or watercourses.
SPILL CLEANUP METHODS: Absorb in vermiculite, dry sand or earth and place into containers. Flush with plenty of water to clean spillage area. Do not contaminate water sources or sewer.

USAGE PRECAUTIONS: Handle in well ventilated areas. Avoid skin and eye contact.
STORAGE PRECAUTIONS: Keep in cool, dry, ventilated storage and closed containers. Keep in original container.

OTHER PROTECTION: Wear appropriate clothing to prevent any possibility of skin contact.
HYGIENIC WORK PRACTICES: Do not smoke in the work area. Wash at the end of each work shift and before eating, smoking and using the toilet. Wash promptly if skin becomes wet or contaminated. Promptly remove any clothing that becomes contaminated. Do not eat or drink whilst using this material.
