A surface primer & additive for improved flexibility & water resistance

Description 

UltraFlexi-Prime has been formulated as a surface primer and to aid the flexibility of cementitious adhesives that have not been previously polymer modified. The product when added to adhesives reduces the likelihood of cracking in applications where flexibility is likely to occur. UltraFlexi-Prime when used as a surface primer, seals and primes most common building substrates, providing a perfect watertight base for the application of the adhesive. Used as a primer, it is suitable for most common building substrates including plaster, timber, brick/blockwork, existing tiles, painted surfaces, mastic asphalt and vinyl tile substrates.
(Please note: the use of UltraFlexi-Prime in cementitious adhesives will slow the set of these materials)

Uses

Mixing and Application 

Priming: UltraFlexi-Prime should be diluted 3 parts clean water to 1 part Flexi-Prime as a priming agent, then painted onto the surface of the substrate. Suitable for plaster, timber, brick/blockwork, existing tiles, painted surfaces, mastic asphalt and vinyl tile substrates.(Paint enough UltraFlexi-Prime on the surface to create a translucent film).

Adhesive Mix Rates: Use a mixture of 2.5 litres UltraFlexi-Prime and 2.5 litres clean water, this solution should then be added slowly to the adhesive powder until the required consistency is achieved.
(Please Note: The use of UltraFlexi-Prime will slow the set rate of the adhesive.)

Technical Information

Packaging: 2.5 & 5ltr Plastic Bottles.
Storage: Airtight containers, store above 5oc and below 30oc. Protect from frost.
Shelf Life: 6 months in above conditions.
The use of UltraFlexi-Prime will slow the set rate of the adhesive. (Recommended for use with UltraRapid PB and UltraProRapid RS only)
